Biography

Christopher Lindsey, widely recognized by his ring name Roderick Strong, is a prominent American professional wrestler currently affiliated with All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Strong gained significant acclaim during his impressive 13-year run with Ring of Honor (ROH), where he achieved remarkable milestones, including a reign as the World Champion, two stints as the World Television Champion, and a World Tag Team Championship alongside Austin Aries. Notably, he holds the distinction of being the second ROH Triple Crown Champion.

Strong began his wrestling journey in the Florida independent scene, initially performing under the moniker The Jester before adopting the name Roderick Strong. His early career included appearances for IPW Hardcore and NWA Florida, but he made a significant impact upon joining ROH in September 2003. In 2004, he became part of the faction Generation Next with Alex Shelley, Austin Aries, and Jack Evans, securing the ROH World Tag Team Championship during this time. Following a split with Aries, he established the No Remorse Corps alongside Davey Richards and Rocky Romero.

In addition to his ROH success, Strong has competed in various promotions, including FIP, where he captured the World Heavyweight Championship three times and the Tag Team Championship twice. He has also made his mark in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG), becoming a one-time World Champion and a three-time World Tag Team Champion. Strong is uniquely recognized for winning PWG's annual Dynamite Duumvirate Tag Team Title Tournament with two different partners, solidifying his legacy in the wrestling world.
