Tomasz Kot, born on April 21, 1977, is a distinguished Polish actor celebrated for his impactful performances in film and television. He first captured widespread attention in 2005 when he took on the role of the legendary Polish singer Ryszard Riedel in Jan Kidawa Błoński's acclaimed film "Destined for Blues." His portrayal of Zbigniew Religa, a pioneering heart surgeon, in the 2014 biographical drama "Gods" further solidified his status as a prominent figure in Polish cinema.

In recognition of his contributions to the arts, Kot received the prestigious Medal for Merit to Culture – Gloria Artis in 2015. His recent performance as Wiktor in Paweł Pawlikowski’s critically lauded film "Cold War" has garnered him significant attention during award season, earning him a nomination for Best Actor at the European Film Awards.
