William "Bill" Maher, Jr. is a prominent American comedian, television personality, political analyst, author, and actor. He is best known for his role as the host of HBO's "Real Time with Bill Maher," a platform where he engages in lively discussions on a variety of sociopolitical issues. Prior to this, Maher led a similar late-night program, "Politically Incorrect," which aired on Comedy Central before moving to ABC.
