John Arledge, born Johnson Lundy Arledge on March 12, 1906, made his mark as an American actor in both film and theater. He became a well-recognized figure in the Hollywood landscape during the 1930s and 1940s, delivering memorable performances in a wide array of supporting roles. Among his notable appearances is his portrayal of a tractor driver in the iconic film "The Grapes of Wrath," where his character infamously destroys a home, leaving a lasting impression on audiences.
