She made her entrance into the Punjabi film industry in 2017, taking on the role of Kainaat Dhillon, the principal female character in the movie Channa Mereya, alongside actor Ninja. This film was an adaptation of the highly successful Marathi film Sairat and was released to audiences on July 14, 2017.
