Biography
Matthew David Lewis, born on June 27, 1989, in Leeds, England, is a talented actor renowned for his portrayal of Neville Longbottom in the iconic Harry Potter film franchise. His journey in acting began at a young age, with his debut in the 1995 production Some Kind of Life, leading to guest roles in various ITV and BBC One dramas. His breakout role came in 2001 with Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, a character he would embody for a decade, culminating in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 in 2011, where his performance garnered significant acclaim.
After the Harry Potter series, Lewis took on various projects, appearing in the BBC drama The Syndicate and making his theatrical debut in Our Boys at the Duchess Theatre in 2012. He showcased his versatility in the 2012 film The Rise, which earned positive reviews at the Toronto International Film Festival.
