Robert Picardo
Biography
Robert Picardo, an American actor born on October 27, 1953, is widely recognized for his diverse roles across television and film. He gained prominence for his character Dr. Dick Richards in ABC's acclaimed series China Beach. Picardo is perhaps most famous for his role as the Emergency Medical Hologram, affectionately referred to as The Doctor, in UPN's Star Trek: Voyager. His film credits include memorable performances such as The Cowboy in Innerspace and Joe "The Meat Man" Morton on the popular sitcom Home Improvement. Additionally, he portrayed Coach Cutlip on The Wonder Years, a role that earned him an Emmy nomination. Picardo also starred as Ben Wheeler in the comedy Wagons East and took on the character of Richard Woolsey in the Canadian-American military sci-fi series, which includes Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, and Stargate Universe.
